About Us

We at Aliwal Shoal Adventures are passionate about the ocean and all that it has to offer. The dive centre is a family friendly one, catering for the diving couples who have children, we offer couples the opportunity to dive together knowing that the future divers in the family are in good hands.

We have showers for after your dives that are guaranteed never to run out of hot water. For those hot summer days there is a swimming pool on the premises to enjoy. We have coffee and braai facilities to enjoy. For those cold mornings and cold winter evenings we have a bonfire lit in the fire pit. We are situated in Umkomaas on the Kwazulu Natal South Coast and launch from the Umkomaas River mouth as well as Scottburgh main beach.

The world renowned Aliwal Shoal is a short boat ride from either launch site. The Scottburgh main swimming beach is manned by qualified Lifeguards so the non-divers in the family can be assured that they are in safe hands. On non-diving days, trips to the local Game Reserves and other places of interest can be arranged.
