RAID was founded in 2007 to address the necessity for an advanced training system, specifically for new cutting edge diving equipment.
Recognising the benefits of new and in many ways more advanced dive training techniques to the broader dive market, the offering was expanded to create the world’s most comprehensive on line dive training product. RAID can now take you from beginner diver all the way to instructor in open and closed circuit recreational, technical and rebreather training. RAID has made many significant improvements to dive training globally which is why stores and instructors around the world are crossing over to offer RAID. So why should you train with RAID?

TOTALLY ONLINE
RAID is the only 100% online training agency, so once you start with RAID you can complete all theory online in your own time, before entering the in water training phase. This makes training more convenient and saves class time which means you spend more time in the water.

Because RAID is 100% online it does not chop down trees to make paper and burn up fuel to ship books around the world. RAID directors has a strong commitment to the environment, which is reflected in the training offered.

RAID uses advanced quality control systems second to none to help ensure you are trained to the highest standard. RAID’s training system clearly articulates all training requirements. Both the diver and instructor must sign off online as training progresses in order to move through the system.

RAID INCORPORATES THE LATEST TRAINING TECHNIQUES FROM THE FIRST COURSE
Historically changes in training have been driven by product innovation, and product innovation is often driven by the “Formula 1” of diving, the technical market. For example, we teach advanced buoyancy techniques in our Open Water class because it is critical to diver safety. Having great buoyancy control is the foundation skill that makes all other training easier. Buoyancy is an essential skill not a ‘specialty’ skill.
