Diving Indonesia

Situated in the middle of the Coral Triangle, scuba diving in Indonesia means you are diving in the world’s epicenter of marine biodiversity. You will find more coral reef species here than any other place in the world.

Diving Raja Ampat

What to expect when boarding for a trip to Raja Ampat, 'The realm of the Four Kings'. Nowhere in the world will you find the biodiversity found here underwater, but sometimes the plankton-rich areas are challenging dives. A bit of preparation before you leave can help you make this a dream destination!

Lembeh Strait: Diving with the “Aliens”

Everyone has their first time did something special and keep that moment for life. So does a scuba diver. During my diving trip, I have encountered several first time moments that made me smile every time remember those days. From the first time diving with tens sharks, to a long dive with mantas. And in Lembeh strait is the place where for the first time I encountered the aliens look-alike marine species, from hairy frogfish to just “normal” looking cardinalfish. The diving in Lembeh strait was addictive, and I wish someday I will return again, to dive with these “aliens”.

Raja Ampat: Nothing More Needs to Be Said

Raja Ampat in Indonesia, has always held a lot of fascination for me. Customers on their way there, or just back, were awestruck by the area. “Best in the diving in the world!” they’d say, but having dove for many years, I’ve heard that before…

Island of the Snakes

Out of the corner of your eye you see a large sea snake, then another appears beside it, and a third swims along the wall in the opposite direction. Suddenly you are surrounded by sea snakes.

Dive Liberty Wreck

My group consist 4 divers for this trip and this is an important moment because this is the first time I dive with my own dive equipments – although I have made several dives at Liberty wreck but I always excited to make others, We pass the middle of ship straight to deep to find a 40 cm purple gorgonian where we find the pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti). We met a big hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) then we swim to the bottom of wreck and find something which hide behind corals. I come closer and see a red color and it has blink with bright blue white color like an electric neon. This beautifull biota known as flame or electric scallop (Lima sp.), feed from filtering water to get micro plankton. This dive spot is one of my best dive! As an wreck this spot has complete attraction for divers who come from all over the world. At the end of the dive we swim between school of thousand of trevallies.

Bokeh Photography

Bokeh Photography is the fine art style to separate subjects from the background or focus on body parts only. In contrast to black backgrounds, the look and feel of the underwater world is preserved. In this tutorial we learn to perform nice bokeh shots.
